Service Management Office (SMO) Launch of Knowledge 2.0

Self-service portal enhancements included

The SMO successfully rolled out Knowledge 2.0 and the enhanced self-service portal on December 6. Knowledge 2.0 brings a simpler workflow that will increase knowledge article creation. It also provides for a truly public knowledge base (not behind WebAccess) that will ensure widespread availability.

The portal features a user-friendly interface and focuses on self-help options for users. These options include a display of categorized public knowledge, categorized service forms, and an easy-to-access incident form.

For information on future releases, visit http://smo.psu.edu/upcoming-enhancements/.
